Zetta has published its ‘2016 SMB Recovery Readiness Study’ which looks at the state of disaster recovery and business continuity planning in small and medium sized businesses.

A survey for the study found that small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) report that they are increasingly focused on ‘disaster recovery readiness’, with 84 percent of SMBs noting that several days of IT downtime would result in moderate to catastrophic costs and loss. To make sure that they are covered in the event of a disaster, more than half (53 percent) rely on more than one disaster recovery method to ‘hedge their bets’ to ensure recoverability.
